Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Organization: In the Spirit of Giving (ITSOG), a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Michigan, with its principal office at 610 West Elm Avenue, Monroe, MI 48162.
1. Purpose and Governance

This organization exists and operates exclusively for the purposes set forth in its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, in compliance with the Michigan Nonprofit Corporation Act and IRS 501(c)(3) requirements

The Board of Directors is the governing body, with authority to adopt policies, amend bylaws, and oversee operations.
2. Use of Materials

All materials provided by the organization (including but not limited to programs, services, publications, and digital content) are for informational, educational, or charitable purposes only.

No material shall be used for commercial gain, political campaign, or lobbying activities, which are prohibited for 501(c)(3) organizations.
3. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property (including trademarks, logos, and content) is the property of In the Spirit of Giving.

Permission to use materials must be obtained in writing from the organization.
4. Solicitation and Fundraising

The organization may solicit donations, memberships, or in-kind contributions in compliance with Michigan solicitation registration rules and IRS regulations.

Solicitation materials must be truthful, not misleading, and consistent with the organization’s stated purposes.
5. Meetings and Voting

The Board meets as scheduled in the Bylaws.

Voting is conducted in accordance with the Bylaws and applicable law.
6. Limitations of Liability

The organization is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its materials or services.
7. Governing Law
-
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
8. Amendments
-
Amendments to these Terms and Conditions require written consent from the Board of Directors and are subject to the Bylaws’ amendment process
